Saturday saw an early start due to the RGT awareness event in Bilston. Found it hard to drag myself out of bed as my throat & chest was killing. Sorted out the hounds & prepared Badger for his first event of this year, he loves these days so much. The weather was colder than expected, but had decided to leave my boys PJ's on under his coat. He really enjoyed all the fuss and ear scratches he received, a couple of rehomed hounds popped along too to say hi.
I got recognised by someone who had seen me on Tuesday night. Back home to thaw out, feed and walk the hounds. A lazy evening planned with a spot of knitting & an early night.
Sunday, woke just after 8 am to the sound of Lady barking, lazed about with a cuppa for a while as I was feeling lousy & coughing up crap from my chest. Decided to have brekkie, but struggled to eat it as I was feeling sick & dehydrated. Same at lunch time, struggled to eat that too, the hounds are always on hand to assist.
Took Lady to Bescot market for some bones, but there was none left, pretty much a waste of time, but she enjoyed having a mooch about, bumped into someone I knew with their hounds, so we stopped for a chat. Back home to walk Badger & Willow, rest of the day to laze around & probably another early night too. Lets see if I can bust this darn bug!
